    Wonder Works was awarded the Best Local Toy Store by the Charleston City Paper staff in 2011 and was voted the Best Toy Store in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 by Charleston City Paper readers.

  • Charleston Tri-County Schools Participate in Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run & Wonderfest; $3,000 Raised for 5 Local Charities at Kids Run

    The Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run & Wonderfest attracted thousands to the festival and run on Friday, March 27, 2015 and raised $3,000 for 5 local charities: MUSC Children’s Hospital, Hugs for Harper, Happy Wheels, Keys for Hope, and Abby’s Friends. The outdoor festival and run celebrated the spirit of children living a healthy and active lifestyle with countless activities for 6 hours at Hampton Park in downtown Charleston. Children participated in obstacle courses and the rock climbing wall, rode the mechanical bull, got moving in the Wonder Works Toy Play Zone, and warmed up for the race at the T-Bone Warm Up and Magic Show. Big kids participated in the 1 mile Kids Run race while toddlers “wobbled” their own ¼ mile course beginning at 5:00 pm.This event has evolved into a fitness festival for not only Bridge
